Visual PR Hire Joe Marrow As First Recruit

Visual PR, launched this year by Swindon entrepreneur Chris Dawes, has recruited graduate Joe Marrow, whose video, graphical, technical and content creation skills are enhancing the business’s services.

Chris launched Visual PR earlier this year, as an exciting new way to help organisations, charities, and individuals reach their audiences in a new and engaging way, including in both the sporting and commercial worlds.

Visual PR produces live or as live, chat show style programmes, which clients broadcast to their YouTube channel, social media platforms, or website. They can also be turned into audio-only podcasts.

“Joe is ideal as he’s a video editor, designer and graphic designer, so not only is he able to take some of the workload off me, he is also taking it to the next level,” said Chris. “He can work on the intros, outros, video stings and graphical elements to the shows, that really make them pop and add the wow factor for our clients.”

The pair are currently working on a show for Bespoke Guardian Swindon Wildcats ice hockey team, which Visual PR also sponsors.

The show, due for broadcast live on August 29 at 6:30pm on the Swindon Wildcats’ YouTube channel and Facebook page, will include special guests, interviews with players, the team mascot and the unveiling of a new signing. Anyone who misses the live show, can watch it back later via the Wildcats’ YouTube channel or Facebook page, as shows are available indefinitely online, even after the lights go down.

Visual PR shows can be one-off or regular episodes and are produced through its online virtual studio suite. They can include interviews, multiple guests at the same time from their own locations, on-site, roaming, and even broadcast live from events. Just like regular TV shows, there is the ability to incorporate different camera focuses, angles, and mobility, stings of other videos and there is even a green room for guests waiting to come on.

Joe has recently graduated from Staffordshire University, with a First in PR and Community Management. He said he was excited to be joining Chris’s new venture.

“It’s such an exciting concept and a great opportunity for me,” he said. “There’s no better person than Chris to work with, as he’s the ideal presenter and interviewer, and I can help with the video and content creation side. His excitement for the project has really inspired me.

“Before I went to university, I was taking a technician apprenticeship, but I wasn’t enjoying it and wanted a job where I worked with people. My university course also involved a whole module dedicated to content creation, which was great as I love anything to do with computers and video.”
